New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is set to have a concrete plan regarding gun reform within 10 days. One day after the Christchurch massacre, Ms Ardern said the nation’s gun laws need to change as the current 30-year-old laws are out of date. The PM says Cabinet is moving as quickly as possible and has announced there will be an inquiry into the tragedy.
